How many mates dates books are there

Once I got through the first three chapters, I could not put the book down. Each chapter was something new. It always had some form on conflict in it, which I really enjoyed reading.

Jul 31, Kelli rated it liked it. This book was funny and cute and true. I only wish I had read it when I was It's more than fiction it's like the girls guide to adolescense. The relationships in this book so closely mirrored the relationships I had myself as a teenager and I think if I had read it then I could more fully understood what was going on. Cathy Hopkins had one underlying resounding lesson throughout the book and that was confidence.

Boys don't find anything more attractive than a girl with a solid back-bone and This book was funny and cute and true. Boys don't find anything more attractive than a girl with a solid back-bone and a girl who isn't going to let them mess her around.

If only I had realized that sooner a lot of heartbreak and nights by the phone could have been avoided. You live - you learn but I highly recomend this book. View all 3 comments. Shelves: favorites. This book is amazing The main messages I got from this book are to never, ever neglect your friends, and don't let a guy mess with your head- something I read about too late :P This book would deffo help teens figure out stuff in their own life.

Loved the lists with tips and advice in this book, although I have to say that the son This book is amazing Loved the lists with tips and advice in this book, although I have to say that the song lyrics were more than a little depressing!! May 29, Aries Djangmah-Yeboah rated it it was amazing. I loved this book and the ending was really good. There were many surprises in the book but they were all good surprises. I've been reading many books but I forget to put them here on GoodReads so I will be updating you guys soon.

A nice, easy fun read. May 13, Lauren Zell-Huxley rated it really liked it. I really enjoyed these books when I was younger. But great for younger readers, say about ?

Silly and fun but you get to love the main characters. Review by N. O: "Really interesting. Different perspective than previous book. Still good, though. Oct 05, B. YA fluff book. Little to no character development, fluff plot, no growth. Would be good for a 12 year old audience. Not sure why an adult recommended this book to me. May 14, Tracy Smyth rated it really liked it. Fun listen audio book.

Sep 19, Kate Phillips rated it it was amazing. I love how it takes all the girls perspectives but also gives each of them a story together as well. I love following them and their minds. Soooo cute. This book is mostly for girls who like to read cute love stories and love to read about other teenagers having boy troubles. Izzie really likes Mark but Mark is just leaving Izzie alone which is exactly what she don't want.

She doesn't want to wait on the phone anymore she wants him to talk to her. Why can't he just call her instead of making her wait? The main characters in this b We all have thought to be inlove and been inlove and have known how it feels to be love. The main characters in this book are mainly Izzie, Mark, Lucy and Nesta. The setting in the book is at school, and at Izzie's house.

Izzie and Mark like each other but every time Mark says he'll call he doesn't. Izzie spends all her time at home just in case Mark calls but he never does. Izzie is cool, bright, and sassy, and Mark is gorgeous. This book and what happens in it reminds me of the old school show "Boy Meets World" because Tapanga and Cory were so in love and sometimes they would have troubles and not know how to talk to each other.

I think this book is so cute I can read it over and over again and it will never get old. Aug 26, Amanda Yeargin added it Shelves: summer-ir-book-reports This book is about not letting boys mess with your emotions.

Or let him miss you things like your friends. Izzie meets Mark and she thinks she's in love. But when he says he will call all she does is hover over the phone. She winds up missing a lot of things including her friends. Meanwhile the only way to see him is to casually bump into him. But she soon realizes what is happening and starts to do something.

One connection i have is an Text-to-world connection. Sometimes girls can obsess over boys just like Izzie. They would probably change for them or ditch their friends just like izzie. It could be a bit different because this is real world and that is a book.

I gave this book 5 stars because the way it related tothe real world. And so much surprises. Like you'll get drawn in when you get towards the middle.

Read it! It's a very quick read, I think I read this for 2 or 3 hours. I kinda re-read this book. I mean, I had read the Indonesian version of this book at least 4 times during junior and senior high, but this is the first time I read the English version.

And it was great to read both versions of the book. I like how this book concentrated on Izzie because she's really into horoscope and stuff like aromatherapy oils, and etc.

I actually learnt a few stuffs about aromatherapy oils from this book. And it wa It's a very quick read, I think I read this for 2 or 3 hours. And it was really cool to learn new things from a fiction book like this. When I read this a few years ago, I don't really like how Izzie acts around her Mom, making her looking like a bad person when I think she's just being a mother. Reading this now, I still have the same opinion.

I'm a doctor," said T. It's not working. Can't do it. Me, T. It might be awful bad luck. I just can't. Something that doesn't involve pain? Bond over a Pringle. Same sort of thing -- caring sharing, bonding schmonding. Nesta never takes anything like doing spells seriously. Pass us a Pringle," I said. Nesta selected one from the tub, then we passed it around, each taking a tiny bite of it.

Then I had an idea. If we really want to have an experience that will bond us, how about doing something that will look good as well? How about we get our belly buttons pierced? I don't think they expected anything like that, but I'd been thinking about having it done for a while.

Part of a whole new image. We were going into Year Ten at school a week on Monday and somehow I wanted to leave the old Izzie behind with the old year. I felt like I'd grown out of so many of the things I'd been into, including my clothes -- literally with some of them.

I seemed to have shot up a few more inches over the last year and some of my jeans were stopping short of my ankles. Anyway, I'd told Mum that I was having a midteen crisis and needed some new clothes. She'd laughed and said there was no such thing as a mid teen crisis, as when you're a teen, it's crisis all the way through -- mainly for her. I don't think she knows how lucky she is. If she knew what some of the girls at our school get up to behind their parents' backs, she'd have a fit.

Relatively, I give her an easy time, although she doesn't think so. I have always wanted one. She was telling me earlier this evening at the party. She said they put stuff on your tummy that kind of freezes it so you don't feel anything. A belly button stud would look really cool and might detract from the fact that I have no basoomas.

Lal calls them basoomas or jaloobis. It says garnet for those born in January, so that's me. Lucy nodded approvingly. Wow, that would look fab against your dark skin. Really exotic. I want a diamond if I'm going to have anything. Much classier. Gemini, born May twenty-four It says emerald for you. I'd rather have a sapphire," said Lucy.

I flicked through the book to Sagittarius. Izzie is restless, and eager to be treated like an adult. So she decides it's time to make some changes. But the new Iz Boys are like buses for TJ.

No sign of one for ages and then two come along at the same time! First there's charmer Olli At last the full story of Tony and Lucy's romance can be revealed. Tony has no idea that he is about to fall for the Mates, dates, school, parents, life?
